Biography
Owais Ahmed, MD, is an interventional cardiologist with Guthrie, with clinical interests that include coronary intervention, TAVR-related valvular heart disease management, pacemaker implantation and programming, nuclear cardiology, and atrial fibrillation. He trained in internal medicine at United Health Services Hospital Binghamton/Wilson and completed cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology fellowships at Albert Einstein Healthcare Network; UHS previously named him director of Nuclear Cardiology and noted that he had been with UHS since 2002.
