Biography
John David Filippone, MD, is an Albany cardiologist with Albany Associates in Cardiology and SPHP Medical Associates. He became Division Chief of Cardiology at St. Peter’s Hospital in 2022 after joining Albany Associates and St. Peter’s in 2011; St. Peter’s also noted his prior leadership of its Cardiac Critical Care Unit, Hospital Telemetry, and Heart Failure Clinic. Dr. Filippone earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry and completed internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship training at Strong Memorial Hospital.
