Dr. Akbar Ahmed is a cardiologist with Rochester Regional Health, where he is affiliated with Rochester General Hospital and is board certified in cardiovascular disease. He also serves as an associate program director for Rochester Regional Health’s Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship. In addition to his clinical work, he has co-authored cardiovascular research, including a 2023 study on TAVR and pacemaker risk.
