Jane Galinta Hallstead, RN

Jane Hallstead, MSN, RN, CDE, is a Canandaigua-based nurse whose public professional background centers on diabetes education at F.F. Thompson Hospital. Thompson Health materials identify her as a diabetes educator and note that she became coordinator of the hospital’s diabetes self-management education program in 2011; the hospital’s nursing annual report also described her as a longtime Thompson nurse and certified diabetes educator who organized Diabetes Teaching Days for nursing staff in 2018. She has also facilitated local Type 2 diabetes support groups through Ontario County.
