Biography
Joseph Messana, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon with Trinity Medical and Catholic Health, with a clinical focus on hand and upper-extremity surgery. A Western New York native, he earned his medical degree at Stanford after studying biomedical engineering and mathematics at Johns Hopkins, completed orthopaedic surgery residency at Albany Medical College, and went on to advanced fellowship training in pediatric upper extremity care at Cincinnati Children’s and hand and microsurgery at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute before returning to the Buffalo area to practice.
