Thomas J. Welch II, MD, is an interventional cardiologist with St. Joseph’s Health Cardiovascular Institute in East Syracuse. He earned his medical degree and completed residency at the University of Virginia, then trained at the University of Rochester, where his fellowship work focused on complex coronary and structural heart interventions; St. Joseph’s also notes that he is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine.
