Stephen Spitzer, MD, is a Syracuse ophthalmologist specializing in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery. He is a clinical assistant professor of ophthalmology and visual sciences at SUNY Upstate, where he also completed medical school and residency before a cornea fellowship in Albany. His professional background includes joining Eye Consultants of Syracuse in 2006 and training ophthalmology residents at Upstate Medical University and the VA hospital.
