Biography
Dr. Chathura Wijewardena is a rheumatologist who earned his medical degree at Saba University School of Medicine, then completed internal medicine residency at SUNY Buffalo and rheumatology fellowship at SUNY Upstate in Syracuse, where he is listed among the program’s 2022 graduated fellows. He later joined King’s Daughters Medical Center as a practicing rheumatologist and also holds the American College of Rheumatology’s RhMSUS musculoskeletal ultrasound designation. He has contributed to published research as a co-author of a 2022 paper on lupus nephritis.
