Biography
Peter A. Wyman, PhD, is a University of Rochester Medical Center professor of psychiatry and director of the Network Health and Prevention Program. His work focuses on suicide, depression, and substance-use prevention through social-network-based interventions, including the Connect Program suite, and he has co-directed the Center for Study and Prevention of Suicide. Dr. Wyman earned his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Rochester and has served on prevention-focused public health efforts, including New York State’s Governor’s Task Force on Suicide.
