Janice Lau, MD

Janice Lau, MD, is a family physician in Rochester, New York, with UR Medicine at Gates Medical Associates. She studied at Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania, earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, and completed her family medicine residency at the University of Rochester.

Dr. Lau cares for patients across the lifespan, including children and adults, and has professional interests in medical education, women’s health, and office-based procedures such as joint injections, biopsies, and long-acting reversible contraception. During residency, she was also recognized with the STFM Resident Teaching Award.
