Biography
Dr. Brenda Griffin is a veterinarian with a long focus on shelter medicine, animal welfare, and population health. She is an adjunct clinical associate professor at the University of Florida and has helped develop academic training and residency standards in shelter medicine, including service as Regent for the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners’ Shelter Medicine Practice specialty. Earlier in her career, she was part of Cornell’s Maddie’s Shelter Medicine program in Ithaca, where a Cornell gift announcement identified her as director of clinical programs.
