Sharon J Glezen, M.D.

Sharon J. Glezen, MD, is an internist whose career has centered on student health and medical education at the University of Rochester. She joined University Health Service in 1990 after completing the UR Primary Care Program in Internal Medicine and earning her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, and later served as medical chief of University Health Service. She has also held a clinical faculty role in Rochester’s Department of Medicine and mentored medical student work on improving clinical care experiences for transgender and gender-nonconforming patients, described in a URMC medical education abstract journal.
