Biography
John M. Bennett, M.D., is Professor Emeritus of Medicine, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center. A hematology and oncology physician with training at Beth Israel Hospital, Boston City Hospital, and Tufts University, he is known for major contributions to leukemia and myelodysplastic syndromes research, including work on the FAB classification system and service as editor-in-chief of Leukemia Research for two decades through 2013.
