Biography
Phillip Ham III, MD, MS, is a pediatric surgeon in Buffalo and an assistant professor of surgery at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He earned his MD at the Medical College of Georgia, completed general surgery residency there, and went on to pediatric surgery fellowship training through the University at Buffalo at John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. At UB, he serves as program director for the pediatric surgery fellowship, and his academic and clinical interests include minimally invasive and aerodigestive surgery, pediatric surgical oncology, and quality-improvement and informatics work.
