Biography
Anthony D. Martinez, MD, is a Buffalo hepatology and addiction medicine physician and medical director of ECMC’s Center for Hepatology Care, known as La Bodega. He is also an associate professor of medicine at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine, with work focused on viral hepatitis, fatty liver disease, HIV care, and substance use disorders. UB reported that he was named one of eight 2024 global hepatitis “Elimination Champions” for contributions to hepatitis care and health equity.
