Anthony Dakwar, M.D.

Anthony Dakwar, MD, is a fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon and Medical Director of Perioperative Services at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, where he specializes in complex colorectal cancers, including hereditary and familial colon cancer syndromes and inflammatory bowel disease-associated cancers. He is also a clinical assistant professor of surgery at the University at Buffalo and has particular experience in minimally invasive colorectal surgery, including robotic, laparoscopic, and single-incision techniques. Roswell Park also notes his research interests in enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) pathways and new technologies for surgical care, and his background includes prior faculty practice at the University of Florida Jacksonville.
