Biography
Sachiko Kaizuka, MD, is a family physician at Highland Family Medicine in Rochester and an associate professor of Family Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She is board certified in family medicine and trained in internal medicine and family medicine in Japan before completing a family medicine residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona.
Her recent work has included efforts to improve clinical workflow and physician wellbeing. A University of Rochester Wellbeing Fellowship profile describes her role in informatics at Highland Family Medicine and a coaching project focused on helping clinicians work more effectively with the electronic medical record. She has also coauthored writing on reducing documentation burden in primary care.
