Biography

Prasanna R. G. Kumar, MD, is a diagnostic radiologist in Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, where he specializes in mammography, body imaging, and interventional procedures. He is an Assistant Professor of Oncology at Roswell Park and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, with research interests in imaging methods for assessing tumor response to chemotherapy in breast and lung cancer. Dr. Kumar trained at Bangalore Medical College, completed residency at Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, India, and a fellowship at the University of Miami; he is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
