Biography
Dr. Marc D. Brown is a University of Rochester Medical Center dermatologist and tenured professor of Dermatology and Oncology whose work has focused on skin cancer and Mohs surgery. He earned his MD at Georgetown, completed internal medicine training at the University of Rochester, and then finished dermatology residency plus a fellowship in Mohs surgery and cutaneous oncology at the University of Michigan. At URMC, he helped develop the Division of Dermatologic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology and coordinates the Wilmot Cancer Institute melanoma group practice. Brown has also held national leadership roles, including president of the American College of Mohs Surgery.
