Biography
Arif S. Syed, MD is a cardiologist affiliated with Catholic Health and Trinity Medical WNY in Lewiston and Lockport. He earned his medical degree at the University of Madras, completed an internal medicine residency at The Lankenau Hospital & Research Institute, and went on to fellowships in cardiovascular disease and heart failure/cardiac transplantation at the University of Miami. Dr. Syed is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology; Mount St. Mary’s Hospital has also highlighted his work using implantable cardiac monitors to help diagnose hard-to-capture heart rhythm problems.
