Biography
Jonathan Huang, DO, AGAF, FAASLD is a board-certified hepatologist and gastroenterologist with the University of Rochester’s Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, where he directs the Digestive and Liver Disease Center for Research. His work focuses on liver disease, including cirrhosis, viral and autoimmune hepatitis, fatty liver disease, hepatic encephalopathy, and hepatobiliary malignancies. He trained in internal medicine at Northwestern’s McGaw Medical Center and completed gastroenterology and transplant hepatology fellowships at the Medical College of Wisconsin; in 2026, Auburn Community Hospital named him chief of its Auburn Gastroenterology office.
