Biography
Jonathan Mauser, MD, is an Ithaca cardiologist with Cayuga Health who earned his medical degree at NYU, completed internal medicine training at Mount Sinai, and went on to a cardiovascular medicine fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Cayuga says he joined the Cayuga Medical Center staff in 1994, founded Cayuga Cardiology, and helped establish one of New York State’s first freestanding cardiac catheterization programs; he is also board certified in cardiovascular disease and has been a longtime local advocate for broader AED access in Tompkins County.
