Matthew Albanese, MD, is a hand and upper extremity orthopaedic surgeon with UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine who completed a hand and upper extremity fellowship at the University at Buffalo after his orthopaedic surgery residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University. He also serves as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, where his published work has included hand-surgery biomechanics research in The Journal of Hand Surgery.
