Vijay Hotchand Aswani, MD

Vijay H. Aswani, MD, PhD, was an associate professor of internal medicine and pediatrics at the University at Buffalo and a UBMD physician in Buffalo. His faculty profile notes that he earned his MD from the Medical University of the Americas, completed combined internal medicine-pediatrics training at Marshfield Clinic and Saint Joseph Hospital, and previously practiced at Marshfield Clinic while also serving on the University of Wisconsin faculty. He was also active in bacteriophage and microbial genomics research and was recognized with the University at Buffalo’s 2019 Siegel Award for Excellence in Teaching.
