Biography
Dr. Deidre Blake is an orthopedic surgeon with Cayuga Health in Ithaca and serves as the system’s Medical Director for Orthopedics. She earned her medical degree at SUNY Upstate Medical University, completed orthopedic surgery training at the University of Rochester/Strong Memorial Hospital, and went on to a fellowship in adult joint reconstruction at Hospital for Special Surgery. Her background is especially focused on hip and knee replacement and revision surgery, and she has written for Cayuga Health about expanding local access to revision joint care; she is also a co-author of a PubMed-indexed study on geriatric fracture care.
