Hongbin Chen, MD PHD

Hongbin Chen, MD, PhD, is a Buffalo-based medical oncologist affiliated with Roswell Park Cancer Institute and a clinical assistant professor at the University at Buffalo’s Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. His clinical and research focus includes lung cancer, mesothelioma, and thymic malignancies; he completed oncology fellowship training at Johns Hopkins’ Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center and internal medicine residency training at the University at Buffalo. Roswell Park has also identified Dr. Chen as part of its thoracic oncology research team studying blood-based biomarkers of response to immunotherapy in non-small cell lung cancer.
