Michael L Christie, MD

Michael L. Christie, MD, is a Rochester psychiatrist with the University of Rochester Medical Center and is board certified in psychiatry. He earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, completed family medicine training and an HIV/Family Systems fellowship at Highland Hospital, and later completed a psychiatry residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Christie holds faculty appointments in psychiatry and family medicine at URMC. His background includes work in community-based HIV care, including service as medical director of Rochester’s Community Health Network and later as a staff physician at the AIDS Community Health Center, and he has also contributed to research and publications related to HIV care and physician perspectives.
