Lisa Benson, M.D.

Lisa Benson, MD is a Buffalo-area physician who is board certified in internal medicine and medical acupuncture and practices medical acupuncture in Western New York. She has also held an academic role as a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University at Buffalo, where she was involved in a project focused on improving how physicians listen and communicate with patients. A longtime leader in her field, she has been an American Academy of Medical Acupuncture member since 2010 and has served for more than a decade on its Education Committee, including as chair.
