Biography
Jonathan W. Shearin, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery who earned his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine, completed orthopedic surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital through Northwell Health, and served as administrative chief resident in his final year. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery with a subspecialty certificate in surgery of the hand, has been appointed to the hand surgery faculty at Morristown Medical Center’s orthopedic residency program, and has contributed to the orthopedic literature, including peer-reviewed work on hand and upper-extremity conditions. He also previously served as team physician for Elmira College Athletics.
