Biography
Dr. Joshua S. Russell is a child and adolescent psychiatrist with UBMD Psychiatry and a clinical assistant professor at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine. He earned his MD at UB and completed both his psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship there. His work has focused in particular on the intersection of child welfare, foster care, and mental health, and he now serves as medical director of the Children’s Psychiatry Clinic at Oishei Children’s Hospital while also teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
