Dr. Joseph Battin Jr. is an optometrist and owner of Battin Eyecare, a third-generation Western New York practice founded by his grandfather in 1952. A Hamburg native, he earned a B.S. in molecular biology from Syracuse University and his O.D. from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2010; his background also includes 10 years with a local ophthalmology practice focused on cataract surgery and disease management.
