Dr. Naheed Alam is a hematologist-oncologist and attending physician at ECMC whose training spans Dow Medical College, an internal medicine residency through the University at Buffalo/Catholic Health Sisters of Charity program, a hematology-oncology fellowship at the University of Minnesota, and additional fellowship training in leukemia and allogeneic bone marrow transplantation at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto. She is board certified in hematology and internal medicine, previously served as director of education for the Canadian Bone Marrow Transplant Group, and has published research in blood and marrow transplantation.
