Biography
Andrew Huang, MD, is a neurologist and Senior Instructor in the Division of Neuropalliative Care at UR Medicine. Based in Rochester, he cares for people living with serious neurologic illness, with a practice that includes neuropalliative care, severe acute brain injury, and recovery after cardiac arrest. He also leads URMC’s post-cardiac-arrest neurology clinic and a skilled-nursing neurology program serving patients with complex long-term neurologic needs.
Dr. Huang earned his MD from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and completed his neurology residency and hospice and palliative medicine fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center. His academic work has focused on the needs of cardiac-arrest survivors and their families, along with communication and ethics in serious neurologic illness.
