Biography

Caitlin Springer is a Boston-based physician assistant with a background that spans physical therapy, emergency medicine, critical care, and point-of-care ultrasound. She trained in physical therapy at Northeastern before completing PA school at Duke, then worked in the Mass General Emergency Department and became involved in its ultrasound division; she later helped launch Brigham and Women’s first mixed medical/surgical ICU as chief PA. Springer has also taught ultrasound nationally and internationally and was a coauthor on a JACEP Open study on proficiency-based ultrasound training for advanced practice providers in the emergency department.
