Biography
Joseph M. Anain Sr., MD, FACS, is a Buffalo vascular surgeon and founder of the Vascular & Endovascular Center of Western New York, now part of Trinity Medical WNY. Trinity describes him as a founder and regional vascular surgery pioneer who established the first angiography suite at Sisters Hospital in 1967 and helped introduce early peripheral stenting and catheter-based vascular procedures locally; his background also includes surgery training at the University at Buffalo and a Cleveland Clinic fellowship, with board certification in surgery.
