Dr. Sita Lakshmi Akkinepally is an American Board of Internal Medicine-certified internist whose ECMC credentialing record describes a training path that included medical school in India, clinical attachments in the U.K. and Buffalo, and an internal medicine residency at the Jacobs School of Medicine at the University at Buffalo. Her experience has included primary care in Dunkirk and hospitalist work at Brooks Memorial Hospital, and she was also a coauthor of a 2020 Journal of Clinical Epidemiology paper examining how conclusions drawn from health surveys can overstate the strength of the underlying evidence.
