Thomas Wormer, MD, is a longtime Canandaigua general surgeon who practiced with Canandaigua Medical Group before joining UR Medicine Thompson Health’s Advanced Surgical Services. Thompson Health’s 2018 community report listed him as medical director of Advanced Surgical Services, and he was also among the board-certified surgeons recognized when F.F. Thompson Hospital became the first hospital in New York State to earn a Center of Excellence in Hernia Surgery.
