Stephen Watkins, D.O., is an orthopedic surgeon with Mount St. Mary’s Orthopedic Care in Lewiston. Catholic Health describes him as a fellowship-trained shoulder and knee specialist who earned his osteopathic medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed orthopedic surgery residency training through LECOM Health, and went on to fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine and arthroscopy in Richmond, Virginia. In a Mount St. Mary’s announcement, the health system noted that Watkins is a Western New York native, graduated magna cum laude from Buffalo State, and also earned a Master of Science in Medical Education from LECOM.
