Biography
James Mark, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon with UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health and Geneva General Hospital whose practice emphasizes sports-related injuries and arthroscopic care. A graduate of Jefferson Medical College, he completed his orthopaedic training during a long U.S. Navy career that included service as a flight surgeon and later retired from the Naval Reserves after 21 years, and he is board certified in orthopaedic surgery with a subspecialty certification in sports medicine. He has also served for many years as an orthopaedic sports medicine consultant and team physician to Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
