Biography
Savio John, MD, AGAF, FACG, is a Syracuse gastroenterologist and transplant hepatologist at SUNY Upstate Medical University, where he serves as Division Chief of Gastroenterology and Associate Professor of Medicine. He completed internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at SUNY Upstate, followed by a transplant hepatology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, and he holds Upstate University Hospital privileges with clinical affiliations that include hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery and Upstate Cancer Center gastroenterology.
