Biography
Jack Freer, MD, FACP, is a Buffalo physician and University at Buffalo research professor whose academic work focuses on biomedical ethics, palliative medicine, and care for incapacitated patients. He is also emeritus director of UB’s Romanell Center for Clinical Ethics, where he previously directed the required clinical ethics course for medical students for 30 years and organized clinical and research ethics seminars.
