Ronald L Kirshner, MD

Ronald L. Kirshner, MD, is a cardiothoracic surgeon and longtime Rochester cardiac surgery leader. He served for more than 30 years as chief of cardiac services and cardiothoracic surgery at Rochester Regional Health’s Sands-Constellation Heart Institute before being appointed chair and medical director of the Auburn Heart Institute. He trained at Temple University Medical School and the University of Rochester Medical Center, including vascular and cardiothoracic surgery fellowships, and his work has also focused on cardiac-surgery quality improvement, presentations, and published research, according to an RIT profile.
