Biography
Dr. Paresh Dandona is a SUNY Distinguished Professor at the University at Buffalo’s Jacobs School of Medicine and a UBMD endocrinologist in Western New York. He earned his medical degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and a PhD from Oxford University, and he founded the Diabetes-Endocrinology Center of Western New York while also serving for many years as chief of UB’s Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. His work has focused on diabetes, obesity, vascular disease, and hypogonadism, and he has received lifetime achievement recognition for research on low testosterone, diabetes, and obesity.
