He earned his medical degree from Beijing Medical University, completed internal medicine residency training at Montefiore Medical Center and UMass Memorial Medical Center, and is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. His published work includes cardiovascular research on aortic stenosis and heart failure, including studies indexed in PubMed.
