Biography
Nawfal Alkhafaji, MD, FACC is a cardiologist with Catholic Health, practicing with Trinity Medical Cardiology and affiliated with Kenmore Mercy Hospital and Mercy Hospital of Buffalo. According to Catholic Health, he earned his medical degree from the University of Baghdad College of Medicine, completed internal medicine training at Jordan Hospital and Chicago Medical School, and went on to a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Creighton University School of Medicine. He was also among the cardiologists who helped staff the Sisters Hospital Cardiology Center when it opened as a new outpatient cardiac care site in Buffalo.
