Cory Fominaya, PharmD, is a VA pharmacist and population health informatics leader whose work has focused on clinical decision support and outcomes research. The Veterans Health Administration named him a 2022 Senior Innovation Fellow for Machine Learning Decision Support, and VA News reported that he created and piloted a machine-learning program to support Veteran care. Earlier, the University at Buffalo listed him as an outcomes research fellow, and his published work includes studies of medication safety and outcomes in Veteran populations, including SSRI-related bone health risks.
