Theresa Regina Stephan Hains, MD

Theresa Stephan Hains, MD, is a Buffalo physician whose career has centered on college health and community health access. A Health Leadership Fellows profile described her service as Buffalo State College’s director of student health after four years as medical director, along with earlier work as an emergency room physician and medical relief work with Catholic Relief Services in Thailand. Buffalo State later identified her as director of the Weigel Health Center, and ALS Therapy Development Institute recognized her local ALS advocacy with its 2012 Fran Delaney Challenge and Respect award.
