Biography
Dr. Maria Cartagena is a board-certified adult psychiatrist in Amherst, New York. She graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine in 1994 and completed her psychiatry residency at UB’s program based at Erie County Medical Center. In addition to private practice, she was appointed chief medical officer at BryLin Hospitals after serving as medical director for inpatient behavioral health and psychiatry at Buffalo General Hospital, and she has also provided psychiatric support for Roswell Park cancer patients.
