Biography
Dr. Venugopal Thirumurti is a Guthrie cardiologist in Corning with hospital privileges at Guthrie Corning Hospital and Robert Packer Hospital. He earned his medical degree at Coimbatore Medical College, completed internal medicine training at Providence Hospital and UPMC Mercy, and went on to a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry; he is board certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. Earlier in his career, he also co-authored cardiovascular research while working with the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.
