Biography
John R. Fudyma, MD, MPH, FACP, is an internal medicine physician with UBMD Internal Medicine and a faculty member at the University at Buffalo’s Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He earned his MD at UB, completed internal medicine residency training there, and later earned an MPH from Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health. His background includes leadership roles as chief of UB’s Division of General Internal Medicine and prior service as chief medical officer for both Erie County Medical Center and the Seneca Nation Health Department; in 2018, the New York Chapter of the American College of Physicians selected him for its Laureate Award.
